Wheat field with an ear silhoutted in a sunset

God of bounty and beauty,
God of seedtime and harvest,
God of ripe corn and rosy apples,
God of misty mornings and dewy grass.
We thank you for this season of plenty
as the harvest is gathered in ready for the winter
to supply our daily bread.
We give thanks for the produce of the land
and the hard work of farmers.
As we celebrate harvest time,
let us never forget those who go hungry,
and teach us, good Lord, to share what your give us.
